Effective date: January 1, 2026
By contacting Sioux City Masonry & Concrete, requesting an estimate, scheduling services, or using our website at masonrysiouxcity.com, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not engage our services or use our website. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sioux City Masonry & Concrete regarding the subject matter herein.
Sioux City Masonry & Concrete provides masonry, concrete, and related contractor services including but not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick and stone work, retaining walls, pavers, and fireplace installation. Services are available to residential and commercial customers in Sioux City, IA and surrounding communities. Specific services, scope of work, and project details are defined in each individual written estimate or contract.
Written estimates are provided at no charge following an on-site assessment. An estimate is not a guarantee of final price. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes during the project, if unforeseen site conditions are discovered, or if the customer requests additions or modifications after the estimate is issued.
Any changes to scope or pricing will be communicated to the customer in writing before additional work proceeds. Verbal agreements regarding changes are not binding until confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Sioux City Masonry & Concrete.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Material and labor costs are subject to change beyond that window.
Project start dates are estimates. Weather conditions, permit timelines, material availability, and prior job completion can affect scheduling. We will notify you of any material delays as soon as reasonably possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or after work has begun may result in costs to the customer for materials, labor already performed, and any applicable permit fees that cannot be recovered.
Sioux City Masonry & Concrete reserves the right to reschedule or decline a project if site conditions are unsafe, if access to the property is restricted, or if the scope of work has changed materially from the original estimate.
Payment terms are specified in each individual estimate or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required prior to the start of work, with the balance due upon completion.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee or referral to a collections process. The customer is responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees, in the event of non-payment.
Disputes regarding invoiced amounts must be raised in writing within 10 days of invoice receipt. Undisputed portions of invoices remain due by their original due date.
Sioux City Masonry & Concrete warrants its workmanship for a period specified in each individual project contract. Warranty coverage is limited to defects in materials and workmanship directly caused by our work. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to hi@masonrysiouxcity.com.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of nature, flooding, freeze-thaw cycles beyond normal seasonal variation, improper use, customer alterations, settling unrelated to our scope of work, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations provided at project completion.
Except as expressly stated in a written warranty, all services are provided "as is." Sioux City Masonry & Concrete makes no other representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sioux City Masonry & Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website, including loss of use, loss of profits, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.
The customer is responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to the work site, disclosing known site hazards (underground utilities, structural conditions, environmental concerns), and ensuring that any required homeowner association or municipal approvals are obtained prior to the start of work.
Sioux City Masonry & Concrete will obtain required building permits on behalf of the customer where applicable. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be included in the project estimate.
We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing formal action. Reach us at hi@masonrysiouxcity.com or (712) 574-8684. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
